• Safety Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and initiatives to reduce incidents and improve safety performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FMCSA, DOT, OSHA) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Training and Development: Provide or coordinate training for drivers, dispatchers, and other fleet personnel on safety protocols, regulatory changes, and proper driving practices to foster a culture of safety.
• Driver Performance Management: Monitor driver behavior through telematics, onboard cameras, and other technologies. Address unsafe driving practices and ensure proper coaching or corrective action.
