Ensure compliance with DOLE-OSH standards and other relevant national and local laws

Implement company safety policies, procedures, permits, and guidelines specific to refinery operations.

Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, safety audits and inspection of plant facilities, pipelines, equipment, storage tanks, etc.

Identify hazards (chemical, mechanical, environmental, fire, explosion) and propose appropriate controls.

Prepare and submit incident / accident reports (internal and, if required, to government agencies).

Assist in preparation, review, and drill execution of emergency response plans (e.g., fire, spill, explosion, evacuation).

Ensure necessary emergency equipment is available, functioning, and maintained (firefighting, spill kits, alarms).
