Job Description : Circle Safety Officer (CSO)

Role Purpose
The Circle Safety Officer (CSO) owns circle-level Workplace Safety governance for Bharti Airtel across offices, technical sites and partner/contractor operations—ensuring policy deployment, statutory compliance, ISO 45001/14001 readiness, incident governance, proactive risk reduction and safety culture strengthening.
Role Context (Scope & Stakeholders)
Reporting to:

Circle Leadership and Central Safety Governance (Bharti Airtel), as per organization structure.
Scope:

All Bharti Airtel offices, technical locations, warehouses and operational/field activities within the circle, including partner and contractor work executed for Bharti Airtel.
Key stakeholders:

Circle Security & Facility teams, Network, Operations/Technical teams, Circle Safety Committee, HR, Legal, supplier management, Central Safety team, External auditors, and local statutory authorities
