**Job Description**

This role focuses on mechanical finishing and preparation work, including sanding, polishing, mapping thickness, masking, and general production tasks to support high-quality fabricated products.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform sanding and grinding operations on parts and components using hand tools and power tools to achieve required finishes.
+ Polish surfaces to specified standards, ensuring smooth, consistent, and defect-free finishes.
+ Map and measure material thickness to verify it meets required specifications and tolerances.
+ Apply masking to parts and surfaces to protect designated areas during sanding, polishing, or other finishing processes.
+ Support sandblasting and paint preparation activities, including surface cleaning and preparation for coatings.
