Michaela Community School is a free school in Wembley, opened September 2014, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. In 2024, Progress 8 at GCSE was 2.55, with 85% of GCSE papers achieving grades 7‑9 and more than 50% at Grade 9. Nearly 70% of A level results were graded A or A+, and 80% of students progressed to Russell Group universities.
We are looking for a teacher who would most likely teach both lower and upper school. We will also consider candidates who can only offer the A‑Level or who would prefer to teach lower school from Year 7.
The curriculum is integrated: pupils in Year 7 learn ecological and biological concepts, chemistry bonding, and structure, which they retain into GCSE.
