Job Description We are looking for candidates to join the fusion-energy effort in the newly formed Future Energy Acceleration & Translation (FEAT) Programme, A*STAR. FEAT's Advanced Ceramic Composite & Coatings team focuses primarily on advanced materials development. Candidate will be expected to contribute to and potentially lead research in materials coating and analysis. Participation in grant calls as a principal investigator is highly encouraged.
The key scope of job includes:
- Develop and evaluate advanced coating materials and process for energy applications, including fusion, fission, hydrogen technologies, or other extreme environment.
- Conduct research on materials development for harsh and extreme environments to improve performance and reliability in energy applications.
- Assist project and group leaders in preparing research proposals and achieving OKR (Objectives and Key Results).
