Our plant in Mataura is gearing up for the 2023 - 2024 season and are currently looking for skilled butchers and boners to join the team!
e Tūranga - The role:
- Bone out/cut carcases to required specification
- Removing cuts from carcass sides & quarters, using specified cutting lines whilst obtaining maximum yield
- Trim and sort meat to required specification
- Identify and isolate product risk/faults and re-work as required
- Any other further processing tasks as reasonably required
- Knives are kept to an acceptable sharpness and used safely
