An employer is looking for a Traveling Network Installation Technician. This role supports a large-scale enterprise IT environment focused on consolidating and optimizing infrastructure across multiple organizations. The technician is responsible for surveying, designing, and deploying structured network solutions while maintaining the overall security posture of the environment. This includes leading site surveys across domestic and international locations, installing and testing network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems, and ensuring all cabling and infrastructure meet NIST and TEMPEST compliance standards. The role involves creating detailed site survey reports, providing design recommendations, building and installing equipment racks, and installing, terminating, and troubleshooting Cat6 and fiber cabling.
