General Accountability
The Securities Hybrid Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the securities group in all aspects of its practice. This includes drafting, reviewing, and analyzing securities-related transactions, preparing, completing and managing securities filings, and all other matters related to corporate and securities transactions, including administrative duties as required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers with securities-related transactions mainly for the reporting issuers, including name change, share consolidation, private placements, public offerings and takeover/issuer bids.
- Prepare, complete and manage securities filings and related matters, including electronic filings made through the following systems:
- SEDAR+
- SEDI
- BCSC eServices
- OSC’s Electronic Filing Portal
- TMX LINX
- Canadian Securities Exchange
- CDS – CUSIP/ISIN App...
