A supportive and welcoming primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 2 . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children who have social, emotional and mental health needs , particularly those who may present with challenging behaviour.

Role

The Role

• SEMH Teaching Assistant supporting a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 basis
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Supporting the child's emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
• Helping the pupil access learning and remain engaged in lessons
• Creating a calm, structured and supportive environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supporting children with SEMH or challenging behaviour
• Confident, patient and resilient approach
