About the Role
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced SEMH Tutor to work with young people who are facing complex Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. These students are currently not attending school, and we need someone who can deliver tailored lessons on a 1:1 basis.

As an SEMH Tutor, you’ll be designing and delivering lessons that are just right for each student, helping them bridge gaps in their learning and rebuild their confidence. The aim is to help them re-engage with education at a time when they might need it most. You’ll be working with students who may have been out of education for a while, so your role is all about creating structure, offering support, and fostering both their academic and emotional growth during this crucial transition.
