Job Description
Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and closing entries. Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns, etc.). Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely payment of TDS liabilities. Reconcile GST, TDS, and other statutory accounts. Manage multi-currency accounting transactions, foreign vendor/customer accounting, and exchange gain/loss accounting. Perform bank, debtor, creditor, and inter-company reconciliations. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management during audits and assessments. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and taxation regulations. Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
