Job Description

Implementation and support of biomedical device integration (BMDI) initiatives, including but not limited to anesthesia machines, vital sign machines, infusion pumps, RTLS, and communication of those systems with the EMR, end user devices and other systems. Guides the analysis and evaluation of existing or proposed systems and devices to process data. Oversees the verification of design documents, testing for new functionality, and defect fixes. Modifies procedures to solve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations.

Job Responsibility

+ Guides the preparation of detailed program specifications, identification of required inputs, and coordination of the system's installation with the user department, ensuring satisfactory results. Monitors the implementation of required hardware and software components for approved applications.
