Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a new Senior Asset Planning Engineer to join our Water Services team based in Te Awamutu. This role will lead, develop and implement strategies for effective and asset and data management of Councils water, wastewater and stormwater assets.

So, what does this mean? Well, as a qualified Engineer with knowledge and experience of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure, one of your key areas of focus in this role will be to plan and implement asset management strategies and implementation plans to support a robust asset assessment, renewal and maintenance profile for the 'Three Waters'. You will need to work closely with your team of skilled professionals to look for new and innovative ways to improve our services, data integrity and planning for present and future long term plans with a view to future water reform.
