Job Description
The Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for overseeing all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring that specialized biogas infrastructuresuch as digesters, slurry tanks, and heavy foundationsis built to exact technical specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: On-Site Supervision: Direct supervision of all civil works, including excavation, RCC foundations for heavy machinery, digester tank construction, control rooms, and site development (roads/drainage). Technical Compliance: Ensure all construction strictly adheres to approved structural drawings, GA drawings, and project specifications. Quality Control (QC): Oversee material testing (concrete, steel, soil) and maintain rigorous quality logs. Ensure leak-proof integrity for gas-holding structures and tanks. Contractor Management: Coordinate with civil subcontractors to ensure adequate manpower deployment and adherence to the project timeline.
