Role Overview

The Senior Bookkeeper will manage the full bookkeeping function, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting management with reliable financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
  • Processing journals, reconciliations, and month‑end procedures
  • Managing creditors and debtors
  • VAT calculations and submissions
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Assisting with audits and year‑end processes
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Required Experience & Skills

  • Extensive experience as a senior bookkeeper
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software
  • Solid understanding of VAT and financial reporting
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients or entities
