Under the responsibility of the Purchasing Manager, the position holder oversees and coordinates all purchasing of accessories in Canada.
- Analyses the entire supply chain, identifies and evaluates potential suppliers and opportunities to reduce costs and increase value
- Negotiates, administers and reviews purchase contracts with regional or local Canadian vendors (price, schedule, quality, and terms) for products, materials, and/or services in conjunction with Corporate Purchasing
- Establishes long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain. May have to source certain commodities. This would include local or regional Canadian suppliers
- Consults with Product Line Manager and other company employees to gather necessary information to move to procure required accessories in the most effective fashion and at the best value to the company. Verifies all required information for the proper specifications of purchase requests ...
