About the role

We're in search of a team-oriented and proactive IT expert with a background in managing operational systems and various database technologies to become part of our crew, in the role of Senior Data Engineer. This role can be performed from either New Plymouth, Auckland or Wellington.

This position is diverse, encompassing aspects of software development, system architecture, and maintenance. The main goal of this position is to develop, improve, and provide support for the Bank's data infrastructure to ensure it meets the stringent data quality and integrity standards necessary for the Bank to fulfil its promises and responsibilities in maintaining data accuracy and security. 

As a member of the Data Engineering team, your duties will include managing the data that moves from operational systems to the data platforms and subsequently to the analytics and reporting systems that produce compliance and management reports.
