Kier is seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our Assured Delivery team nationwide. The role offers remote working with occasional travel to the office and requires a commitment of 42 hours per week, with some flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management and engineering assurance, maintaining control of design programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Manage interfaces between stakeholders, design teams and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Chair interdisciplinary coordination meetings and own engineering discipline interfaces.
• Lead design development with a focus on buildability, safety, sustainability and value engineering.
• Ensure technical compliance and quality control across all design requirements.
