The Senior Drilling Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support to drilling operations planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering planning, design, surveillance, and follow-up as required for the safe and efficient execution of rig mobilization/demobilization, well drilling and completion programs.
Ensure program objectives are met while assuring the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental protection are applied.
Provide technical expertise on drilling engineering to the Operations and Production teams.
Work closely with the Drilling Superintendent, Drilling Supervisors, Procurement and Logistics team in the execution phase of drilling operations.
Plan and conduct DWOP/CWOP and Pre-Spud Meetings for drilling operations.
Be familiar with and ensure all regulatory requirements and guidelines are followed.
