Job Description
Responsibilities - Mentor a team of engineers in Basic design to carry out Hull form and General arrangement development, Hydrodynamic and stability calculations for a tender or ongoing projects.
- Assist in the development of new products.
- Support other in-house departments and external parties, where required, by providing specialist technical advice and information.
- To generate list of drawing/document specific to each project.
- Prepare technical specifications for equipment procurement (e.g. major deck equipment) and perform technical evaluation of vendor’s bid.
- Carry out naval architectural calculations, hydro dynamic analysis, stability calculations.
- Prepare and review layout arrangement in accordance with building specification, rules, and regulations (fire, watertight integrity, accommodation layouts…)
