Senior Fellow in Cardiothoracic Critical Care

The post is suitable for intensivists wishing to enhance their specialist experience in all aspects of adult cardiothoracic critical care, including transplantation, mechanical assist devices, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, focused ultrasound examinations and transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE). Applicants will be expected to have completed or be within two years of completing specialist training in their parent specialty.

This post is offered as a six-month appointment, with an expected start date of October 2026; however, an earlier start date may be possible for the successful candidate.

Main duties of the job

• Participate fully in the delivery of critical care services, research, and training and educational programmes;
• Maintain a logbook and appropriate records of progress;
• Participate in regular performance reviews;
