Senior Financial Accountant

Our client within the manufacturing sector is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. The successful individual will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and internal control functions of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure statutory compliance and to manage the accounting, reporting and control functions of the Finance department
• IFRS Compliance to ensure that all relevant standards are adhered to; processes and procedures are put in place for IFRS compliance and ensuring accurate reporting
• Accurate month end reporting within deadlines
• Effective management of the external audit, ensuring that audit deadlines are achieved
• Reviewing and accurate Income Tax, VAT calculations and submissions, and assist with any taxation requests from the Finance Manager
