Purpose of the Job
The senior fleet controller will play a pivotal role in supporting the Lead logistics Controller in achieving an efficient and well-managed fleet. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Asset Management
Manage and oversee the fleet assets within the Company with the lead logistics controller and ensure optimal fleet utilisation.Monitor and report on daily diesel consumption, taking corrective actions for unacceptable levels.Book trucks with outside contractorsTrack loads and liaise with driversKeep load planning up to date with loads loadedAssign trucks to loadsCheck and monitor loads from loading points to unloading pointsIssuance of order numbers for all loads driven by c...
