The Role

As the Senior Governance & Risk Officer, you will play a key role in strengthening Council’s governance and risk practices. You will provide expert advice to ensure our Enterprise Risk Management framework is effective, practical, and embedded across the organisation.

You will lead key programs such as Business Continuity Planning, ensuring they are well designed, tested, and aligned with Council’s broader risk framework. You will work across the organisation to promote a strong risk culture and support teams to manage risk with confidence.

You will support the Chief Governance and Risk Officer to deliver and maintain a robust Corporate Governance Framework. This includes coordinating key processes, monitoring compliance, and promoting Council’s Fraud and Corruption Control Framework.
