Job Description
Key Responsibilities - Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control specific day‑to‑day operations.
- Analyze operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports, and collaboration with others.
- Assign and manage employees to minimize operational cost and maximize operational quality, including the movement, tracking, and administration of trailers (in conjunction with the linehaul department as applicable).
- Run fleet utilization improvement projects through various routes and network optimization tools available in the industry, with internal stakeholders.
- Manage day‑to‑day operational activities to meet SLA.
- Manage resources as a truck within the operational area.
- Manage operational cost within the operational area.
- Manage day‑to‑day operational activities according to standards, policies, and procedures.
