This role is responsible for supporting business needs through the implementation and maintenance of IT applications, whilst ensuring strong governance. This role reports to the Head of Application Services.
Responsibilities - Project and Application Services Management
- Deliver IT application projects and initiatives from definition to closure
- Manage outsourcing of new projects, enhancements and maintenance / support of IT applications
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Ensure effective vendor management to meet stakeholder expectations for project delivery and service level agreements
- Submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes for IT systems where necessary. Monitor and track project expenditure within budgets
