Job Description
- Lead and drive merchandising performance across multiple categories, ensuring achievement of sales, margin, and profitability targets
- Develop and execute category and commercial strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across assortment, pricing, promotions, and channels
- Oversee full category portfolio performance , including monitoring KPIs and driving corrective actions
- Lead high-level supplier negotiations covering cost, rebates, and trade funding to maximise commercial value
- Build and manage strategic supplier partnerships and joint business plans (JBP)
- Provide direction on SKU strategy , including product expansion, rationalisation, and lifecycle management
