Description
The Sr. Mechanical Engineer will assist the Project Manager and the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the daytoday activities on the project. The Mechanical Engineer will participate and manage in review and approval of all submittals by the contractor with a focus on quality assurance during the engineering phase of construction.
Under the supervision of the project resident engineer or MEP lead performs routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm if proper construction supervision is being performed by others. Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes standards and specifications. Document nonconformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.
