Job Description
Senior Medical Social Worker – Responsibilities - Functions as a Senior Medical Social Worker to provide bio‑psychosocial assessment and intervention in the management of patient / resident / client care in line with professional standards, while supervising a team and leading projects.
- Provide end‑to‑end counselling and case management for complex / specialised cases, including assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Lead the development, facilitation, and evaluation of group work sessions to strengthen social support systems and networks for target groups.
- Identify service gaps and advocate for or lead the development of programmes to improve service delivery for patients / residents / clients / caregivers and stakeholders.
