Role Description

Arcadis seeks an experienced Senior Mining Geotechnical Engineer to join our Canadian Mine Sector team. The role is client‑facing, technical and requires 15–20 years of direct mining sector geotechnical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to plan and deliver mine tailings and waste rock investigations, designs, and management solutions across complex mining projects.
• Prepare technical reports and work plans, evaluate tailings facilities, waste rock storage areas, and water management structures (dams, dykes, diversion systems).
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with engineering and environmental standards.
• Provide technical oversight as or toward an Engineer of Record (EoR) or Deputy EoR, ensuring engineering integrity across projects.
