Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze existing network architecture.
- Provide designs for current and future WAN/MAN/LAN technologies.
- Recommend best practices like SDN, intent-based networking, and network segmentation protocols.
- Design telecommunications circuit specifications.
- Identify requirements for routers, switches, and encryption devices.
- Deliver service catalog items for auto-provisioning network configurations as Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Develop and maintain network architecture specifications and artifacts.
- Provide detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Conduct cost/benefit analysis for hardware/software selection.
- Monitor network hardware operations for proper configurations.
- Plan enhancements and upgrades to the network.
