Job Responsibilities - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy and related services for residents.
- Identify individual resident needs and develop individualized therapy programs to facilitate, restore, improve, or maintain functional abilities.
- Monitor residents progress, evaluate program effectiveness, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide caregiver training on resident handling and home exercise programs.
- Refer residents to appropriate specialists and prescribe rehabilitation aids as needed.
- Offer consultation and support to caregivers and allied health professionals regarding resident functional status and occupational therapy matters.
