**Position Description & Qualifications**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pipefitter / Pipe Welder to support U.S. Navy ship modernization and repair availabilities. This position performs advanced pipefitting, welding, and installation work in support of shipboard piping systems, equipment upgrades, and modernization projects aboard U.S. Navy surface vessels.

This role is ideal for experienced waterfront trades professionals who have previously supported naval shipyard, repair, or modernization environments and are capable of executing complex piping installation tasks in demanding shipboard environments.

**In this role you will:**

+ Interpret specifications, drawings, blueprints, shop job orders and process sheets.
+ Use a variety of ARC and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as foundations, cable collars, cable/pipe/vent hangers, cable tubes penetrations, studs, etc.
