Te Wero - The Challenge

You will support the Manager for Strategy and Policy by developing,implementing and monitoring Council’s strategies and policies. You will alsolead and support the projects that will deliver the Strategies and Policies toCouncil, coaching and mentoring staff involved on these projects on the way.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Advise Council on proposed legislative changes that mayimpact on Council particulary regarding RMA reforms
  • Develop policy and position statements, submissions, andadvice on matters of strategic importance to Council
