Vitus Commodities trades actively in electricity and natural gas contracts in Europe. We are looking for candidates to fill the position of Senior Power Trader for our expanding team. As a Senior Power Trader, you will be responsible for actively trading in the European energy markets and strategically optimizing our portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in European short term power trading. (Short term is defined as any maturity less than 3 months out in the future)
• Strong educational background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of active trading experience with full responsibility for managing a trading book and its PnL.
• 5+ years of experience in the energy power sector.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• In-depth knowledge of the energy industry, power market structures, and risk management.
