About the role

A fixed‑term maternity cover opportunity for a psychologist experienced in working with older people, or wanting to gain experience, to support our Specialist Older Adult Mental Health Service (SOAMHS) based at St. Marys House, Eastbourne.

Main duties of the job

• Clinical work with patients, including therapeutic and neuropsychological assessment.
• Formulate and guide intervention allocation.
• Offer evidence‑based psychological therapy for complex mental health conditions.
• Provide support to families in the community.
• Support psychological practice within the wider team through consultation, formulation, supervision, teaching and training.
• Provide advice and consultation to the multi‑disciplinary team and other health professionals.
