Overview

In this role, you will apply your protection engineering abilities within a team that investigates, scopes, designs, and delivers protection settings projects. You will have the opportunity to learn from our Power industry experts delivering these engineering solutions across New Zealand and Australia.

Location & Employment

Based in Christchurch or Wellington, this full‑time permanent position guarantees a minimum of 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, scope, design, and deliver protection settings projects, predominantly within the Transpower standards framework.
• Support the design of projects ranging from connecting renewable energy sites to upgrading networks for resilience.
• Use DigSilent PowerFactory, Transpower standards and Stationware; contribute to secondary or communications design as required.
