Overview* Reporting to the Chief Radiation Physicist, you will provide scientific, educational, research, safety and technical support as well as mentorship in a radiation therapy department.
Job Responsibilities* You will be primarily responsible (80%) for the following:
- Radiation dosimetry, calibration and in-vivo measurements.
- Quality assurance of treatment machines, treatment planning systems and dosimetry equipment.
- Radiation safety measurements and administration.
- Radiation treatment plan quality assurance.
- Equipment commissioning and acceptance.
- Professional development, training and orientation in all areas of radiation therapy physics.
You will be secondarily responsible (20%) for the following: Research and development.
