Our client in the FMCG manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Raw Materials Management professional for a vacancy in their Diep River plant, reporting to the Raw Materials and Packaging Manager.

1. Recommending and implementing cost-effective improvements in the department.
2. Forecasting of all Raw Material, Masterbatch & packaging requirements.
3. Monitoring supplier deliveries daily & general supplier performance.
4. Ensuring that the raw materials are distributed on time and correctly to production departments.
5. Monitoring slow-moving and dead stock.
6. Ensuring stock is handled correctly and all spillages and breakages are reported.
7. Conducting cycle counting and monthly and yearly stock counts.
