**The Role**

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize the Mobile Backend for Frontend (MBFF) platform and back-office integration services that power GM mobile ownership experiences. This role will focus on building secure, scalable, and resilient microservices using Java and Spring Boot, while advancing modern engineering practices across API development, cloud-native operations, DevOps automation, and observability.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in microservices, hands-on cloud engineering experience in Azure, and a practical understanding of how AI-enabled tools can improve engineering productivity and operational insight. This engineer will play a key role in delivering platform capabilities that improve reliability, accelerate delivery, and simplify how mobile applications integrate with GM enterprise systems.
