We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Specialist to join the Production Services department within OP Pohjola's Development and Technologies organization. In this role, you will administer database solutions in OP Pohjola’s datacenter environment, focusing on Db2 for z/OS. The position is available in Helsinki or Oulu, combining office days and remote work in Finland.

Responsibilities

As a Specialist in Database Engineering, you will manage, develop and optimize on‑premises databases in our datacenter environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Database performance analysis, capacity planning and monitoring.
• Maintenance, security and ensuring compliance, stability, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Guiding vendors in areas such as data integrity, updates, patches and service level agreements.
