The objective is to ensure the smooth flow of goods from market warehouses to customers while also striving to optimize costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Global Supply Planning role ensures capacity availability to fulfil demand by translating midterm and long‑term demand forecasts into granular short‑term production schedules that also align with near‑term requirements. The role balances available and required capacity to optimize service, working capital and logistics costs while monitoring any potential issues which may impact production schedules.
