RPO Recruitment's client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shaft Engineer to join their mining operations in Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations, particularly in the shaft sinking and development process.

Responsibilities:

1. Complying with engineering legal requirements (MHSA 2.13.1 / 2.13.3.1 appointment)
2. Optimizing equipment requirements, overhauls and maintenance to ensure availability and reliability of equipment.
3. Continuous improvement of productivity and reliability
4. Complying with and enforcing Health, Environment and Safety rules and procedures.
5. Ensure effective and accurate reporting.
6. The ability to lead others by setting direction and building alignment.
