SUMMARY


Basic understanding of the operation of a sheetfed press. Assists the 1st operator in the assignments with production and quality in mind. Responds to the first operator needs for the efficient operation of the press. Responsible in assisting to maintain the overall quality of the final printed product, as well as the overall condition of the press and press environment. Replenish consumables at the press as needed.

+ Assist in ensuring all necessary materials and information is on hand prior to the start of the make-ready, such as, plates, paper, proofs, color sample, ink, etc.
