Ship Control Instructor

£45k-£47k DOE, permanent position, onsite work Monday to Thursday (08:00–16:30) and Friday (08:00–13:00). Location: Clyde. Pension & enhanced leave allowance available.

The role

To deliver Astute Class Ship Control training while providing subject matter expertise to support course development, technical change, and marine training projects.

Responsibilities

• Training delivery: accountable to the Operations Manager: provide training to students with a wide range of experience, within the SCT discipline but also to provide assistance with generic training, for example Astute Class Familiarisation. All training is to be delivered to prescribed standards and within contractual requirements.
