Job Description
Summary You will serve as a SHIP SAFETY SPECIALIST in the Operations Department (C300) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the execution of Ships Safety Program on projects and for the safe execution of nuclear and non-nuclear work. You will assist with managing assigned area of responsibilities of the project, including planning, engineering, production, and testing. You will conduct daily tours of hull and ensure all Fire Zone Boundaries, topside, and escape hatches are operational and checked. You will oversee casualty response drills. You will provide recommendations to Project Management team in the areas of Industrial Ship and Fire Safety. You will control the ships conditions at the working level in the Shipyard and Off-Station. You will maintain safety program goals and actions to achieve the goals in regard to ship safety.
