Job Description - Industry / Organization Type: Container Trucking Service Provider
- Position Title: Shipping Assistant
- Working Location: Central (Nearest MRT: Little India)
- Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday: 9 am–6 pm)
- Salary Package: Up to SGD 2700 + AWS + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities - Manage all import/export documentation for sea and air freight, including the preparation of required shipping paperwork
- Prepare invoices, permits, and arrange cargo insurance as needed
- Liaise with clients for certificate applications and related documentation
- Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to arrange container transshipments and confirm vessel schedules for barge connections
- Submit Bill of Lading drafts to shipping lines or freight forwarders and print original Bills of Lading via online platforms
