Job Description
Key Responsibilities - Source, negotiate, and manage freight forwarders and logistics service providers for local and overseas deliveries
- Prepare and process logistics and purchase requisitions in accordance with operational requirements
- Monitor freight forwarder and plant logistics performance, while supporting continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Plant Logistics, HSE, suppliers, vendors, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of goods according to project schedules and purchase orders
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Letter of Credit (LC) documents, Certificate of Origin, insurance documentation, delivery orders, packing lists, commercial invoices, and related reports
- Liaise with Finance on shipping payments, invoice processing, warranty matters, and LC negotiations
