Shipping Officer

Duties

• To supervise daily routine shipment such as arrangement of unloading and loading activities and other customer's requirement that can be fulfilled.
• To carry out daily morning briefing with handler and bay operator.
• To address any abnormalities to superior regards to shipment matters.
• To liaise with customers regarding shipment.
• To communicate effectively with customers about delivery and collection of consignments.
• To ensure that customer product is dispatched correctly.
• To assist Shipping Executive to liaise with Custom Department on Custom matters (LMW, M1, M2, M4, and value added activity renewal).
• To coordinate with Production Planner/Officer on warehouse utilization, incoming delivery and outgoing collection.
